Family,

It has been an amazing journey over the past six months. A new chapter has been written in the life of Wells Branch Community Church. Last week we had over 190 people in worship not including children and adults in the children’s ministry. God has continued to grow our church family.

That can be scary, because there might be more people that you don’t know rather than those you do know. For the church to still have that family feel, we must be involved in each others lives. Community Group is where that happens. My heart is that when the next round of Community Groups open up (September 2) you would make the commitment to join one and be known.

Furthermore, at our Sunday morning gatherings be very aware that the person sitting next to you might be checking out our church for the very first time. If you aren’t sure you know them, don’t be bashful in saying, “Hi! My name is… How long have you been coming to WBCC?” We will try and help with the ice breakers during the announcements Sunday morning, but we need you to do your part in making new people feel comfortable.

Also, connection pads help us keep up with everyone–especially our first timers. If you have been coming to WBCC since its inception, please fill out the Connection pad, so that the new person next to you just assumes that is what you are supposed to do (because it is).
