Our Mission

We are a church of Community Groups. Community Groups exist to cultivate a family of believers on mission. Our groups consist of long lasting relationships that encourage people to connect relationally, grow spiritually, and: Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.

Our vision is that the greater Austin area would be reached through WBCC Community Groups.

How Do They Work?

Everyone is welcome to join a group that fits their life. We get together for family gatherings where we get into God's Word together, fellowship and grow in love for one another, eat together, serve one another sacrificially, and open our homes to each other. We share life together and grow together through intentional investments and sharing meaningful experiences.

Evangelism and discipleship are also important components of Community Groups. Groups take part in outreach events to serve our community, meet new people, and make disciples in our neighborhoods. Within Community Groups are Discipleship Groups with the purpose of growth in spiritual maturity and to eventually reproduce themselves in a fourth spiritual generation. We want to make disciples who make disciples.
