Branch Kids is a safe and interactive learning environment for your child to build relationships, love Jesus, and be a part of our church vision to reach every man, woman and child with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. Since we believe that parents are the primary nurturers of their child’s spiritual development, we are excited to partner with our families to help encourage children to obey and love God’s word, embrace Jesus, care for others, and have fun along the way!
We Love Your Kids!
We are more than childcare. Our classroom teachers are passionate about raising up children who revere God, love Jesus, serve others, and understand the gospel. When you drop your child off at Branch Kids, they will experience God’s unfailing love through the teaching of God’s word, prayer, worship, crafts, and other activities.
Time & Location
Branch Kids receives children during our 9:00am service. Please arrive 10 minutes before service to check in your children.
Branch Kids is located inside the WBCC Live For More Center (LFMC). Follow the signs to our LFMC, which is located at the end of the shopping center.
Checking In Your Child To Branch Kids
If it is your first time, go to the front check-in desk and fill out a health and information form for each child. We will print off two security stickers with your child’s name: one for you, and one for your child. Please hold onto your sticker and present it to the classroom teacher at pickup. These stickers ensure that parents are reunited with their children safely after the service. On your next visit, go directly to your child’s classroom and check in using the tablet outside of the door.
We have 4 different age-appropriate environments for our Branch Kids to experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.
Ages 0–2 Years
Our Seedlings class is for children ages newborn up to 2 years old. This classroom environment is conducive for both newborns and walkers alike with fun and safe equipment and toys for every infant milestone. Our Seedlings teachers are nurturing, attentive, and experienced. We believe that it’s never too early to start planting seeds of truth, so you will see our teachers praying with your child and instilling the love of God’s word through age-appropriate bible books. Because of the wide range of ages and stages in this classroom, we do not provide snacks. We ask that you pack and label a snack for your child and we will serve it to them at our snack table. If we need to reach you for any reason, we will contact you on the phone number you provided at the time of registration. We can’t wait to love on your child and watch them grow into all that God has created them to be!
Ages 2–4 Years
Our toddler class is a fun and busy environment for your child to play and learn. We sing fun scripture-based songs, read bible stories, share a snack together, create crafts, and engage in lots of playtime! Our teachers are loving, full of energy, and have a passion for teaching the word of God to little ones in ways that they can understand and share with their parents. Because children in this class range from diapered to potty-trained, please let us know how we can best assist your child. Watching our toddler class “sprout” in their knowledge of God and their love and kindness towards others is our greatest joy. We can’t wait to meet your child!
Ages 4–6 Years
In our preschool class, we believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning. It is our greatest joy to see our preschoolers “bud” into the children God has created them to be as they engage God together on a weekly basis. You can count on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience. Be on the lookout for fun crafts, structured learning, and engaging games every week. If your child is not yet potty-trained, please let us know how we can best assist them.
In our K-5 class, we aim to cultivate a heart for God and instill Christlike character in every child. Every Sunday we sing songs and learn Bible stories from the Gospel Project (our Branch Kids Curriculum). We also separate the kids into K-2 and 3-5 groups for some of the activities. We want our kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to him through prayer, and to build friendships that will last!
