The Care Ministry at WBCC exists to walk alongside and care for those in crisis, revealing to them the love and care of our heavenly Father.
We all face trials, but we don't have to go through them alone. God has called us to serve our neighbors who are suffering or hurting. If you're having trouble navigating life's challenges, we want to come alongside you and help you experience the relief and comfort offered in Jesus Christ. Whatever prayer, care, or assistance you need, we can help.
The Care team provides assistance in a number of specific areas:
Our Benevolence Ministry provides assistance when you need help navigating life's challenges. If your financial issues have become too overwhelming, let us help you in tackling that challenge. The Benevolence team assesses requests for financial assistance from individuals in need, and then works with them towards a solution which may include providing temporary, short-term assistance.
At the moment we are not taking benevolence applications. If you need assistance please give us a call so that we can recommend other options.
God wants to hear from us — all of us — especially in our greatest times of need. Every Sunday, you can fill out a prayer request form in the bulletin. Simply drop it in the giving box, or give it to a greeter. Or fill out this form: Prayer Requests
If you would like to join the prayer team, email Joel Franklin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you're going through a difficult time or a huge life transition, the last thing you need to worry about is dinner. Let us take something off your shoulders by setting up a meal train. We can arrange delicious meals to be delivered to you on the dates of your choosing based on any food likes, dislikes, or dietary restrictions you may have. Just reach out to us at email@example.com to get started.
Have a little one on the way, or a brand new addition that's already made their arrival? Sign up on our new mom registry so we can walk alongside you on this exciting new journey. We can set you up with a meal train, connect you with other moms, and so much more.
Medical emergencies happen unexpectedly, and when they do, we'll be here to help. We'd love to come pray over you, bring you a gift basket of things you might need during your hospital stay, set you and your family up with a meal train, or any other things that might be weighing on you when you or a loved one has a medical emergency. Reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Loss hurts and we want to help. Losing a loved one is a confusing and challenging time and it can be hard to navigate the steps involved in planning a funeral or memorial service during the grieving process. Our team will help guide you through the various steps of planning a funeral and make sure you have everything you need. Grief is hard but you don't have to suffer through it alone. Please email us at email@example.com.
