We believe that each of us are called to love God, love people, and make disciples. We aim to accomplish our purpose through our Gather, Group, Grow and Go process. We encourage each person at WBCC to Gather for corporate worship, Group into smaller community groups, Grow through our discipleship pathway, and Go reach our spheres of influence through local and global mission. We believe that our purpose to: Love God. Love People. Make Disciples. is found throughout each step of this process.
Why Gather?
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
Wells Branch Community Church is committed to gathering those seeking God to gospel centered assemblies primarily on Sunday mornings. The goal of these gatherings is to worship God in a way that grows believers in their faith while making a relationship with Jesus accessible to those who are not connected to God.

Why Group?
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42-47)
A vital part of WBCC is community groups. Community groups exist to connect people relationally and grow people spiritually.

Branch Youth
Our youth ministry is for students 6th to 12th grade and meets in the Live For More Center immediately after second service. Lunch is provided as part of the Branch experience.
Why Grow?
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
We desire for people to grow to be fully devoted followers of Christ. Growth to maturity comes through discipleship - as those who were once far from God are brought into the family of believers, growth happens through the Holy Spirit when a Christian receives the Word of God through meaningful teaching, small group discipleship relationships, and missional experiences. We have a specific discipleship pathway intentionally designed to help us see our core identities fully formed in us with corresponding life patterns that we are called to reproduce in others.

Why Go?
And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus’ plan to reach the world was for His followers to intentionally go out into the community and neighborhoods to interact with those around us as well as continue that mission around the world. We like to say the “mission” has a church, the “church” doesn’t have a mission. We seek to utilize our community groups to serve in community events, leverage our Benevolence program to help those in need and encourage people to engage the people in their circle of influence in spiritual conversations that lead to sharing the gospel. Wells Branch Community Church also engages in an intentional mission to go to those far from God both near and far through our summer Great Adventure.

Resources
BLESS
BLESS is a simple, straightforward approach to evangelism. It is less about the particular methods of sharing the gospel or sharing your testimony, and more about caring for the people in your life. The different aspects of BLESS can be used in any order and are all important ways we can care for one another.
B: Begin with Prayer
Pray for people in your life who are far from God. Ask God, “How do you want to use me to bless the people in my life?” And be open to hearing the answer.
L: Listen with Care
Show that you care by paying attention to people’s dreams and struggles. Listen for evidence of God’s work in their lives.
E: Eat Together
Share meals and life with people in your life who do not know God.
S: Serve in Love
Be attentive to opportunities God provides you to care for people and attend to their needs.
S: Share Stories
Look for ways to share the story of Jesus and how He has transformed your life. Share all the good things God has done for you and all the tough things He has brought you through.
