WBCC Women's Ministry exists to provide gender specific tools, mechanisms, and opportunities for discipleship in the church—ensuring every woman at WBCC has the opportunity to experience life transformation through the Gospel of Christ, faithfully living it out and sharing it with others in their community.
We also want to help women engage in formal and organic disciple-making relationships. Our heart is to work with community group shepherds to achieve 100% discipleship with the women in their community.
How Do We Achieve Our Mission?
The Wells Branch Community Church Women's Ministry offers a number of events and resources to encourage and empower women in their spiritual journeys:
Fall Woman's Bible Study
We're offering two meeting times throughout the next 12 weeks. We'll be meeting at 10 AM on Tuesdays (childcare provided) and Saturdays at 9:30 AM (no childcare). The Tuesday study will begin on September 24 and the Saturday study will begin on September 28.
We'll be diving into the book of 1 Peter, and walk through 12 inductive tools for studying the Bible. Teaching will be lead by Julie Medford (Tuesdays) and Ashley Elliott (Saturday) and will be hosted here at the church. Please register at https://wbcc.churchcenter.com/
Every year the ladies from WBCC get together for a weekend to experience love for God and each other. We usually head somewhere within an hour of Austin providing an overnight environment away from the stresses of work and family on the "mountain top" that we might see God's vision for us so that when we return to the "valley" we can take intentional steps to grow.
Join us as we gather together for our 2019 Women's Retreat. Our theme for the retreat is "authenticity." You'll be challenged to let go of the demands of daily life and to focus on resting and connecting with God and WBCC women in all walks of life.
We all want to be faithful disciples of Christ. We want our lives to be focused on going and making disciples. Discipleship is an intentional pursuit. If you're interested in connecting with other women to make disciples, tell us more about yourself in this form.
