Give up fast food and coffee to start water wells

“By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” (1 John 3:16-18)

As we go through 1 John together, The Well is partnering with our missionaries in Tanzania to raise money to build clean water wells where we are church planting among unreached people groups. Our goal is $10,000, which is actually really doable.

We could really do this…

If 100 of our young adults gave $10/week for the next 10 weeks we would have $10,000 raised, which would put 10 clean water wells in Tanzania where we are church planting. That’s very doable. Actually it’s almost crazy how doable it is. To think that a handful of young adults can make a small sacrifice each week that leads to 10 new clean water wells in areas that don’t have access to clean water is CRAZY. And awesome.

Will you give $10 per week for 10 weeks?

Will you give up eating out and buying coffee once a week and give that money toward clean water? That’s all it would take. One less Chipotle burrito and one less Pumpkin Spice latte per week. Get water instead of a soda at Chick-Fil-A, and think about the water you are helping provide for those who don’t have access to it.
