The word “passion” in modern culture usually refers to romance novels or adult entertainment. However, the word passion was originally defined as the suffering of Jesus Christ as he went to the cross. Starting in Matthew 26, Chris Plekenpol and Phill Kwon will guide WBCC through what it meant for Jesus to go to the cross for Jesus, for his disciples, for their contemporaries, and for us. Chris starts the Matthew’s Passion series with a sermon on Matthew 26:1-16.
