And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. Light refreshments will be provided during updates on the elder board, finances, and the capital campaign & building plans.

8/13/22 | 9am - 3pm (breakfast & lunch provided)
Vision Presentation & Ministry Breakout Sessions
Breakfast & coffee will be provided as Pastor Plek presents the vision for this upcoming year, followed by breakout sessions for Sunday morning serving ministries.

After breakout sessions end around 12pm, join us at the pavilion at Katherine Fleischer Park for a celebration including lunch, inflatable obstacle courses, and games.

Childcare Information: 

We will be offering childcare throughout the event for children aged 6 months - incoming 3rd graders. Friday Night: PJ movie night in the LFMC. Saturday kids will remain in the LFMC for crafts, free play and a Biblical tv show. 

Incoming fourth and fifth graders are invited to engage the FOCUS conference as they are beginning a transitional stage of joining in corporate worship. However, because Friday night is primarily the business meeting aspect of the conference, incoming 4th and 5th graders will be invited to the LFMC for the movie night. Saturday morning we ask these students to attend FOCUS for worship and the message followed by the option to join childcare during our breakout session time block. 

Incoming 6th-12th graders are encouraged to attend the entire FOCUS conference. There are many opportunities for these students to serve our church family if they are not already doing so and FOCUS breakouts will be a great time to initiate this process.
