Todd was born and raised in Dallas, TX. At the age of seven he gave his life to Christ at the First United Methodist Church. While in high school Todd met his beautiful wife Cassi. They dated through college at the University of North Texas. There they started attending Denton bible Church where they learned for the first time the significance of studying scripture.
Upon graduation, Todd and Cassi married in 1993. Todd and Cassi became leaders for the High School group at Denton Bible. Todd then went through Tommy Nelson's Discipleship program in 1999. In May of 2000 he was asked by the associate pastor to go and start a church in Sherman, TX. At the same time, Todd attended Dallas Theological Seminary. After ten years of marriage, by miracle, Todd and Cassi had their first child Jackson, in 2003. Todd was a Youth Pastor there for six years.
In 2006 Todd left Sherman and went to work with Michael W. Smith at his church in Nashville, TN. There he preached every month, led the student ministry, Men's Ministry, and was Overseer of the Children's ministry. While in Nashville, Baby Bethany was born in Memphis and adopted by the Worthams in February 2008.
Feeling the inspired call of God, the Wortham family felt compelled to move back to Texas and start a church that would love on Texans and change the world in an authentic way. The door opened up at HCBC Northwest to come on as a Church Plant Pastor. Pflugerville then interviewed the candidates for church planting and decided to bring Todd on as their 2009 Church Planter. Todd and Cassi look forward to spending the next thirty years pouring in to the people of Wells Branch, Austin, and the World.
